If I understand correctly, you are suggesting that the 3 runs are qualifying/time runs, and then people will be paired randomly (not by qualifying times) and run in bracket eliminations? I guess you are just saying that the consistent drivers win the race money, but the fastest cars (not necessarily the race winner) gets bragging rights?

I don't mind doing the Winchester trip - makes no difference to me and my Dart...

I am currently probing my wallet and my clock to see how deep and flexible they are...

Lou, the race would be run heads-up, no dial in or head start. If you ever watch any of the fastest street car races, the fastest car does not neccessarily win. You still gotta drive and have a car that holds together.

The random pairings will basically prevent the fast guys from attempting to line up with slower cars. (Duck hunting)
