I for one love lowered cars, especially mopars(they are way higher it seems versus the other makes). My first car(a '61 Chevy) had 2.5 inches of ground clearance from lowest point(mufflers)and never had a problem, just creep over them speed bumps, and if you bend something fix it not a problem. If this makes me lowrider so be it cars look better lowered.

I for one love the hieght of my Dart(four door Dart, only one year newer than yours). I'll admit that I think the lowering does look good, but I like the normal height a little better(taste preferance). I need new leaf springs so that my car is not a boat, my back springs are arched, but the arch goes in the wrong direction  Anyway, I like the high front for parking, low cars hit those cement park blocks a lot, I just can drive till my tires hit them with no problem. I also remember a screwed up speed bump that played as degreaser for the bottom of many new cars, and cruncher of many of the ricer's fiberglass on their lowered and body kitted vehickles. I drove over the bump fairly nicely, only hitting my tailpipe once(as of this date the speed bump has been taken up). 2 inches with the height really shouldn't be too much, but just remember that if you lowered too much you might end up being one of those comical vehickles that have to almost get parallel with the speed bump to get over it.
