i've got a new ignition switch on order and am redoing the manifold alignment in a.m. i am truely grateful for all the help offered. this sight rocks. i;ll let you know how it all shakes out. i registered to be a member, but pw probs don't let me log in hopefully, soon, i'll lose the guest and be me. regards robert |

well, it finally runs. problem was carburetor fast idle screw gone. replaced it and rebuilt holly 1920. am now fine tuning carb. thanks for all the help! robert rmdennys |

I had this problem once with my 73 valient. Turned out to be A loose connection between coil wire and distributor cap |
