I just got a set of these for my new Motor Build. Very nice valves.

I also spoke with Tom yesterday as well, the group buy is still on. I am getting a custom grind cam for what I am attempting to achieve... He is going to modify the 282/340

I wanted the oversized ones. These are listed as the same size as stock. I contacted the seller, and he says he'll list the oversized ones soon. I' didn't see them on there yet.

It depends on where you are at in Canada. But you are likely looking at $25.00 to $35.00 US Dollars to get a cam.

FYI, have a customs broker lined up to use because if you don't it will take forever to get the shipment through customs.

Customs broker? No. You don't need a Customs broker. All you need is to be smart enough not to use UPS to ship from the US into Canada. Best option is the post office, second best is DHL or FedEx or Purolator.

I talked to Tom tonight and he said they only ship UPS and FedEx. I have been ripped off before from UPS so i'm smarter now. I havent had anything shipped FedEx though. Any "extra" charges with them?

Well I ship from my business to business in Canada and no matter what carried I have used, if there was not a broker set up it gets held up. Maybe it is different shipping to an individual?

Not really. However my best luck shipping anything international has been DHL.

I import prolly $50,000 worth of stuff a year from the US. I never use my broker.

You do need a broker to get crap from Canada into the US however....

Get it mailed if you can.

I have a mail box in a small town in Northern Washington....I got my Erson cam shipped there and my son brought it back with a fabric shipment.

If you are bringing a lot of commercial goods acrosss the Canadian Customs ignore your personal importations.

Interesting, my company does between 1 and 1.5 million in sales to companies in Canada each year. Without fail, anytime I send something if the customer does not have a broker it gets held in customs until that is resolved.

It always fascinates me how different people have different experiences doing the same things. It is pretty neat actually.

Of course my problem could come from the fact each order I ship is between $3,000 to $50,000 so customs pays closer attention to those orders.
