The first passes with the turbo setup were made tonight! 6-7psi no meth kit because the pump ate dirt for some reason didn't even make it through a full tank of meth so i'll be calling coolingmist tommorow! Oh and these passes were with the t5 trans just got it in the car about 2 weeks ago! oh all the rt's were slow haha was just trying to put up some times tonight, wasnt many people to race anyway I was one of 22 cars at tnt.

I had 6 runs total for the night even with long breaks in between runs since my electric fan thermostat took a crap, best time was the 9.08 best mph was the 81.4 couldn't break into the 8's tonight :( but i'm still happy so far. First two runs launched real easy bogged a bit ran 9.1's then after that was trying to give it the beans off the line but i'd spin most of 1st gear when I used any kinda of rpm off the line. ran all 9.1's and last run was the 9.0 was going to power shift the 5speed that run but forgot too since i was staring at my temp gauge. Oh and the only upset of the night was discovering my meth kit was not working the pump is apparently bad for probably the past couple weeks without noticing the tune was a little lean for all the racing tonight but the car ran good despite the meth kit being out of commission.

There was a blow proof bell sold at Summit we someone was showing for about $500 in the tranny forum. Something I am going to need for the Duster.

I like my toes!

I feel the need to buy one of these even though it is a long way away for the need.

I am afraid they may become made of unobtanium before I need one.

It would be interesting to find out what it would take. Looks like the big hole would fit the 833OD just peachy keen.

My ultimate set up would be this and Jamie Passon's bolt in 5 speed.

Recent updates! I tore the engine down to refresh everything and change some stuff here and there! Found the murdered head gasket was the only part failure. The head gasket egg shaped at least a little on most of the cylinders except numbers 2,5,6

New upgrades, block and head are at the machine shop being cut for O rings. Custom ARP head studs thanks to Frank! I have a few minor little tweaks in the works for the setup and lots of polishing and painting. Finally painted the engine bay to match the car.

Looks and sounds good, Kev. Should be fun to see how the new gasket/stud plan works out.

I've been trying to get him to a slant six race for quite some time, but he won't pull the trigger.
