Very cool! I plan on the same velocity stack jobbies poking out the hood. Except mine will be attached to a couple of two bbls. Connected to a slower motor. That does not have an aluminum head. That is on a car that isn't running. Screw it.......never mind.

He's had the engine back out and on the dyno again. It seems to keep wanting more cam...

Howard is focusing on his grandkids and their Junior Dragsters and will get the car back on track as time allows...

He did say that the last time they had it out for a "look see" that they improved their already impressive 60 foot times by .05...

I ping him from time to time, but he's on his own schedule...

I'm hoping he'll make it to Clay City, but I kinda doubt it. He said last year that is a busy time for him in the farming implement business...

I'll ping him again just for you Rick.

It must be sumthin' in the water around KY, IN and IL... None of us can seem to get to the track with a running car like we want to!

Howard called yesterday to see how the Clay City race went.

He has had the car out to the track a couple more times, but has been fighting tranny/converter issues lately. :(

His grandkids are still in the thick of things with their Junior Dragsters, but he is going to try to make it out to another test & tune before the season ends.

He says it's running 6.90s in the 1/8th so far. (Car weighs 2800 for all you numbers crunchers  )

Wallace calculator says this based on that weight and ET:

431.38 flywheel HP and 388.25 rear wheel HP

Don't know how accurate it is but it is pretty impressive if it is anywhere close!

I can't imagine him building the head and not being chompin at the bit to get the bugs worked out. Hopefully 2014 will be a great year for them. Tell them thanks for pushing the envelope !! And we are anxious to here all the details once the bugs go away!!

Surely if you go to all the trouble to make a video, you could at least put down the ET somewhere.

I am beginning to believe it is all photo shopped!!!

Post subject:  real video

Nope, I called the guy on the phone who shot the video and he says the car runs Super Street (an NHRA 10.90 bracket class) and was running 7.00s at that 1/8-mile track. Good guess, Slantzilla...
