I've gone over the list many times and think I have a pretty good idea of the main players that will be there along with many others that have stated their intentions. There are a handful of outlyers on the main list I need to tidy up still, but I am pretty confident that this will, no doubt, be the largest gathering of Slant 6 drag cars ever assembled in one place! :D

I made up some numbered poker chips last night to draw the random ladder and thought the number I made was more than enough to cover everyone... As I just recounted what I think will actually be there, I need to add about another 10 to be safe! :shock: :D
(No, I ain't gonna jinx nuthin' & share my best guess number with all y'all. I might write it down & reveal it at Clay City though... :) )

I bought in bulk and have presents for my fellow race coordinators as well. No more pen and paper stuff out of a smelly hat for this professional racing organization! :wink:

Yes...some tracks aka Maple Grove......he can not race a convertible with an approved rollcage.

Yup, count me in things have been chaotic for the last few months but seem to have smoothed out.
the only slant vehicle I have now is the convertible but we won a day back in October so slow and steady will be there.
looking forward to seeing everyone and putting faces to names.

I've made quite a few changes this time. Charles Myers posted that he will not be able to make it after all. I also moved several people from the Racer List down to Potential Racers. I still have several PMs sitting in my Out Box waiting for replies. Please take another close look at the list and let me know if I've missed any needed changes. I guesstimate there are about 6-10 still on the Racer list that I'm not sure of. Even at that we will hit 38 racers at Clay City! :D The most ever was back in 2008 at Redding, CA where they had a 28 car field.

Hey Dennis!

Thanks for posting! We had another “3 on the tree” racer at Wilkesboro. You guys make those “Bang Shift” guys look like wimps! :lol:

If you bump into Heatseeker (Gordie Stevens), remind him of the $2K to win. When I called him several months ago he said he would come if I made it worth his while... :lol:
