That cylinder was down 40 psi from normal and it would blow coolant out of the radiator under boost and smoke out of the valve cover since it was letting pressure into the crankcase. Two more cylinders were egg shaped the gasket and we like 20psi down from normal on the compression test.

Same style copper but this one is slightly thinner and is made by Clark instead of Hussey. So the old won't be reused it's going to get hung on my wall lol

Love the setup. How much of a pain is it to get that thing tuned with a carb? Gonna. E rebuilding my slant soon and wantex to add some boost. But i have no idea where to start seeing as this is my first Caruretor car.

Now that I've done it I don't think it would be very difficult the second time around lol. That being said it can be kinda weird trying to figure out what approach you want to take depending on your setup and stuff. My carb took a bunch of physical modifications besides just tuning to get all sorted out but I'm pretty confident a legit blowthrough carb like a csu or c&s may have been easier to deal with than other carbs some people are using. Save yourself a headache and buy an AFR gauge right from the start makes tuning a millions times easier and safer for the engine.
