Yes his car is all together but he needs to remove all the electronics not needed with a 5 speed and go through the carbs to get its started.

Odd question. I am using the factory V8 pedal assembly in my car but never had the floor mounted pedal. Does anyone know how high the bracket that was welded to the floor is? I can make something work but if anyone has one to look at please let me know. I will have carpet back in the car eventually, so I don't want to make it too low.

If you can get in touch with Venables he has a 66 with the brackets in with no carpet.

I don't think the fulcrum point matters too much here.

I have one on my '64 and on the '62 with a different floor pan. I also have one attached to a bar of steel on my other '62 so that I can drive it. The floor is rusted away on that car.

If you eyeball it, it will be good.

Did you get a few runs on Sat / Sunday at mason dixon?

Our track was canceled on both Saturday and Sunday due to being too wet and muddy.

No we were canceled due to 50 MPH wind gusts. I would have run 12.50's if we ran! :D :D

Here is a picture of Ryan towing with the Dart Greg. Super stock springs in the back made it pretty stable I think. with a super light car and trailer.

Made the bracket for the floor and installed the gas pedal and all new pedal pads. Now all the people the bugged me about not having a gas pedal can just buzz off! :D :D All I can say is I liked it fine without the pedal, maybe even better! It just better be faster! :D Also installed the new clutch pedal I made with new bushings so I am ready for next winters thrash!

Fantastic!
Those tall stock accelerator pedals are great for heel-toe-downshifting.

Not sure that you need that or care, but it looks great. I don't think I ever gave you gruff about your no go pedal?

I don't think Ron Hamby had one, and he had no problems getting it done!

See you soon
