Im glad to see such solid progress.

Trailer is ready to go. I may have to break down and get a new one next summer though, this one is 30 years old now.

One last fly in the ointment, but it is fairly minor. Talked to Patrick today about getting it in his shop my next Saturday off in 2 weeks. He's got his shop full of 4X4 Dodge Ramcharger with the front diff torn apart. Hopefully he has it mobile by then because that is my last chance to get it done and tested before Clay City.

Great googly moogly...

Went out this morning and got a couple more things marked off the list. Had to reroute my neutral safety wire away from the header before it melted, and got the transbrake wire run up into the car. Now I have to figure out where I want go mount the button. I had it on the dash in the red car, and that was a really stupid place.

Also got the slicks off the car and dropped off at my buddy's place this morning so he can mount up my other ones.

Still going forward........

Considering the limited time off I have, I have been doing fairly well. This coming weekend is my last scheduled time off before Clay City. Hearing it run if only for a few seconds was really uplifting.

I just want this whole mess to be done.

And that’s a GOOD thing! :D

‘Cuz this here’s a hobby what we all love.

I was done enough with my Poser Fabrication tonight to spray some paint over the mess I made.

I guess that means I’m ready to start bolting things back together.

I hope we both make it to Clay City with these things... running...

Checked the rear end for a leak, seemed to be the drain plug. Topped it off and put the slicks on. Fired it up and tested the trans, has all the proper gears and the brake works.

Finished the wiring and got my lights working. Even patched up the duct tape wiring repair on the trailer we did coming back from Nebraska.

Ready to go to Teig Machine and Welding Saturday to move the seat, mount the belts, and do a quick toe-in adjustment.

Supposed to be decent Saturday night for some testing.

It's GO time!
