I will be there as early as they will let me in to get things organized. I'll also be shuttling multiple vehicles over there as well.

MOPAR ON THE MOUNTAIN
Sept 7th-9th

Just to address a few things !!

First off the same people will run the programs !! Bob Rogers ( Car Show) , Dallas Clark (Race Operator) , with assistance from ( Tech & Staging Lanes from Joe ( Nitro) Jackson! We also will have the help from Dale Mears !!
Plus our staff will again run the race just like the past years ! However we had to make a few changes because Sunday we lost so many racers !

All racers and spectators know that this is a Mopar event ! Racers and spectators make this event ! No1 else does - me included!

So we didn’t have very many King Of The Street Cars last year so we decided to not have them !!

If any of the King Of The Street Cars want to race ! We will pay 100 percent back !

Also Friday is exactly like it was last year ! Everyone is welcome to Test & Tune !

Addressing Nostalgia SS class ! We welcome all Nostalgia SS racers to race with us ! Last year we had I believe 1 that wasn’t a Mopar but was still able to race !

Saturday is ALL MOPARS in all of the classes but we welcome ALL in Nostalgia SS both days !! If we have 20 cars we will pay $1,500 to win and for every 5 more we will add $250 more !!

We did change the entry to $100 each day or $150 for the weekend for Nostalgia SS!

Saturday we will have a Gamblers for all other Makes and models so they have a reason to stay for Sunday! If any Mopars want to join this race they can !!

Sunday in No Box & Box Classes we will keep Mopars separate form the other makes until the finals !!

Racers & Fans Mt Park Dragway has a history of putting BIG MOPAR SHOWS on and we will continue the tradition !!

Each Class (Model) will have 2 separate classes

A stock class & a Outlaw Class !!

It looks like Ruster will not make it to this show.

Bizzare oil pressure problems and running out of time to disassemble and rebuild.

I will be there probably just with another car.

I am sure that you will be back strong next year.

concerning you bringing another car from your stable,,,
I vote for you to run the Hyper Pac Dart,
that would be eye candy for all in attendance :)

Lou, I will also plan to get there early of Friday. Are you thinking around noon?
Perhaps some one knows of a restaurant in the area, (with plenty of parking room for folks with trailers..)
and we can all plan to meet for lunch.

John and Rob,

Sounds great. I can probably get there by noon, but I am not sure yet. Maybe a late lunch at 1 PM would be better for me so I don't have to leave at 6 AM. Kathy's Country Kitchen is pretty good, and is right at the crossroads of Rt 11 and Clay City main street. I am open to other spots, however.

I got a nice letter back from Pete McNicholl after I mailed his trophy saying he is planning to be at Clay City. I just sent him a bunch of maps to help his trip. Looking forward to talking with him!

That might be doable if I am not towing... If I can swing it Maybe I can tow 1/2 way the night before and be there too. We'll see - sounds fun.

If I am living the streetcar life that weekend then no problem..

We are planning on being there by Thursday evening...hopefully....still wrenching on the car I hope to be driving/racing.....time is slipping by...

What are the rules for the SS/ Nostalgia class? Maybe I'll bring The Dart wagon instead of the Lancer wagon seeing that Stan won't be there. I race in the American West Nostalgia/SS and the Mountain Nostalgia/SS clubs rules. I could race in two classes then and get a little more track time in.
