Looks great, Greg! 5.5" will be a much better width for those tires. I remember doing that upgrade back in about 1989 and was very happy with the results. Wider is better! Lou |

I believe I still have some Wider ~7" AL wheels for the SBP from my '69 dart (only 2) , but they are still in 14" diameter I think. I might just like to experiment with some other options but keep these wheels / tires for looks. I would like to throw some 225 50 15 or possibly 235 50 / 55/ 15's on as they have waay better UHP tire selection than the 215-70-14's that are currently on the car. Those oddball (nowadays) tires are usually relegated to the clearance rack and always all season tires with poor tread wear and grip. |
