Just a couple simple ones to keep the oil from sloshing front/rear too much

I added a little more baffling to the big oil pan.

Now the real motor is in. Along with a built 904 with reverse pattern manual valve body.

Nice.

Those are some crazy looking front upper control arms!

The S10 chassis is a popular platform for resto-mod cars from the 30s & 40s. It uses GM G-Body architecture in the front suspension.
In this case these control arms are 3" longer than stock (each side). Made by an outfit called Fatman Fab specifically for those wider vintage bodies.

Works out great for this project as it gets the front close to the same width as the Corvette rear.

I can see that about the s10. Plentiful, cheap easy to futz with.

I got the cab back on - hopefully for good.

Also modified the accelerator and brake pedals and have them installed in the truck.

And made an adapter to bolt a C7 Corvette master cylinder to an aftermarket dual diaphragm booster.

There's only a few welds on that firewall...

Lookin' Good.

Greg
I still suck at welding sheet metal but after welding what seemed like miles of sheet metal joints I did get a little better at it.
