| No fair making the model prettier than the real thing Better get busy and patina it up - at least break off a door or two Kidding of course, I think it's great | |

| When he sent me that pic he said, “Now to make it look like poop.” So it’s gonna get patina’d up. | |

| Adam and I did some ToadRacer brainstorming last night. Hoping to do Sebring in May and Bowling Green in September. Goal is to have it on the road for for some shakedown by 11 April (1 month before Sebring). Team ToadRacer expect an email shortly... | |

| Getting the car ready to take to Adam’s I have scraped another 22 pounds of undercoating. There is still more to go!

| Wow, 22lbs ain't nuthin'. Good work. Every 50 lbs or so you take out of the car, you can feel it on the road and the track/course. Keep at it! Lou | |

| Adding lightness wherever I can. With all of the other cutting, scraping, glass removal it should be significantly lighter than Jason’s 64 Valiant. | |

| I took ToadRacer to Adam’s last night. He didn’t tell me his narrow alley is a dead end! Turning around the Ram 3500 long bed quad cab towing a 20 foot car trailer in there was.... ummm... interesting...

| Quote: Nice!! Note that a T5 on a 63-66 A-body needs most of the upper X-member cut out, and at least 2" of the very top of the X goes away. Rebuild with rectangular box tubing. I can give more direction later...I thought I had posted this pic before. Will this do, Lou...? Lou

| That looks plenty high enough. I might have used larger diam tubing, or I would tie it into the steel floor for good overall body rigidity. Thanks! Lou | |

| So is this the one that was going to get the 4 speed in it you got from me? You have so many cars I need a book to keep up with you! | |
