Actually Rob...I'd like to see a raffle draw for it for competitors.....1st place is already a nice purse.... Some will go out first round....a new converter would soften the blow..... Not every car is truly up to their best, but running to be part of this great reunion.... Just my 2cents... Thanks.... |

Hey Dan. Thanks for replying. I wasn’t clear in that post. I didn’t mean that the race winner would also get the converter. It will be a random draw along with some other prizes like spark plug wire sets and a Rock Auto certificate. |

I just checked the weather report and the rain forecast for Saturday is down to 20% mostly cloudy with a high of 79!  This is the latest on the Mountain Parkway Facebook page: Quote: Okay EVERYONE! We will make this weekend happen !! So come on ! We have racers already parked so come join the fun!! We will have it cleaned up and mowed for ya!! We are cleaning up beside the return road so that the path is all clear!!

I am definitely coming (w/Christine and her Sis and bro-inlaw), and I spoke with Seymour and Charlie last night and they are definitely coming. Knock on wood, it looks like the weather forecast is getting better for Fri eve as well... Lou |

I told Scotty we are on the way! Norm and Elaine Foster will be dropping their car and trailer off today. Scotty should be holding spots for us.

We are loaded an ready to go. Plan to be there by 3:00 Friday. I talked to Barry Harrison a few minutes ago and he is near Winchester now with his race car. I will be doing a lot of sitting while Kay will be busy keeping up with the fueling, tire pressure, and charging this weekend. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Hope the track has worked out parking for all of us to be together. Ron |
