Ha! It can't come soon enough. But... I have a ton of things to do still. Haven't really started on the MegaSquirt setup yet. I've bought a few components but am miles away from having a running motor. ![]() ![]() Greg The good news is I finally feel like I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. The project is no longer a big question mark. I can list the major things that need to be done. Build a roll bar - working on that Make an interior engine cover Install the doors Make a panel to replace the tailgate Build out the electrical system for the 'chassis' stuff Paint the bed, install fender flares Install the passenger seat - working on that Select and install instruments Build out the fuel injection system Create and tune the fuel and ignition maps Exhaust system ...plus all the endless details... |

Looking good! Less List Stuff....and geez the rear (bed area) of that thing is short. if I may offer a word of caution on the Aluminum Dryer vent tubing and bits.. with vibration and normal engine / vehicle forces they do tend to vibrate and break - lil' bits of metal can get into that intake path... Wonder How I know?? I still have that cheap ratty stuff on my ruster... Need to re engineer something else . I might suggest some 4" flexible tubing from rocker or the like for your wood shop dust collector.. https://www.rockler.com/clear-flexible- ... 4-diameter Greg |

Yeah, I'm not real confident in the dryer vent so figured I'd have to replace it with something more robust at some point. The bed is short but the only hauling it's going to do is hauling ass! ![]() It looks really short but the 4-wheel footprint is nearly identical to a C4 Corvette. Only it will be nearly 1000 pounds lighter. |
