Sorry for the long delay, been busy with being retired.
When I realized I could not make Clay City for the Slant or Colt race, I decided to reevaluate my efforts.
I wasn't having a lot of fun working 8-10 hours a day on the Colt.
And with a lot of frustrations with my wheels, and clutch and etc, etc, etc, something needed adjustment.
I apologize to everyone wanting to see the Colt run this year.
I took a weekend and went up to the Slanted National and had a great time.
Got to meet some super folks, saw some great slant six racing and had a real fun day.
I looked at Mark Goodman's engines to make a decision on if I wanted to buy one.
Decided at this time, I don't really want that much engine in the Colt.
I really appreciate Mark and what he has accomplished.
I did purchase a really nice head that will go on the 210 motor.

The Colt is almost ready to run, I am finishing the wiring now.
Fuel is done, and one wheel is back from Bogart, but one is still in Phoenix.

Deb and I are going on a long vacation starting next week.
We hope to be gone till November with some friends of ours from VA.
Austin, Big Bend, White Sands, Scottsdale, Sedona, RT 66, Santa Fe, and whatever trips the trigger.

Then I am going to run a Half Marathon in Dallas in December.

I will post when I get back and the Colt comes to life!

What was wrong with the wheels?
They put the valve stem holes in the wrong location.
Caused the tube stem to de-laminate and go flat.

Hoping to start the engine this week.
Wiring is done.
Wheels back from Bogart and I am mounting the slicks.
New McLeod pressure plate installed to reduce pedal effort.
Lots of small issues have been fixed.

After we returned from our southwest vacation, Deb and I got Covid.
She was in a bad way for most of November.
Hers turned into Covid Pneumonia.
Mine was mild, but pretty sure this was my second time having it.
Deb is slowly coming back, she still has some issues.

Thanks Will, same for your Barracuda. Both of them!

Thanks Dennis, still working on the crank rod deal, I will give you a shout.
