Sham: Its good that the smoke bothers you....and yes Dan is a pain(I had to ask him to stop PM ing me),,,and lots of guys including me are grumpy,,,,and your question has been answered here somewhere. The BIG secret is Like NLM said to listen and figger and then actually work on your car. Too bad it wll still smoke like mine cuz it is old. By the way.....thanks for filling in for me for the last week...I was worried nobody was pissing these guys off. Have you considered poly bushings as a solution to your problem?

D/W proudly recommends the following for you car:

"poly" bushings (braaaaaaaak!)<----- or a cracker.
Holley 390 carburetor on everything including your bone-stock weed-eater.
K&N superfilterchargers (or Fram if you're on a budget).
Splitfire U-groove platinum gold truck SUV whiz-bang gee-gaw spark plugs.
Prolong Mobil 1 synthetic 0W-50 racing slick50 motor oil lite, with Teflon.
Flo-master torque-bong lighted curb-feeler overpriced heavy-assed mufflers.
Fake composite stickers on everything.
27" X 8" clinchers on pro-ghetto spinner gold plated spoke backlit billet ridiculous-ass rims-es.

This is just for starters. These are just my favorite upgrades! :D

not related to the topic...

i feel that the worse spanking one can receive is no answer at all rather than jumpin' on someone's back for a so-considered silly Q. Also I'm pretty sure that we all have posted some stupidities down the road long ago and far away.

let's fulfill our blood cravings on ford users. or shivvy.

The problem with these types of questions is that most auto repair manuals have a very nice "trouble shooting" section. I would say the 95% off all the "its broke, what do I do" questions could be answered by just following the trouble shooting section. The rest of the questions could be answered by doing a simple search on this site or at .com. If those efforts fail, then post to this board. Somebody has dealt with the problem before. It's not like they are making new Darts and Valiants.

Most of the people that post these types of questions are to cheap to pay the $19.99 for a repair manual or are to lazy to follow the trouble shooting section. I have given up trying to answer these questions, and now treat them as "noise".

well now that's a bad attitude. I was wondering why ole dan and others have jumped on your neck... I guess that your answer explains better than any words. This kinda way of thinking may lead you to stop cleaning your butt 'cuz anyway you'll use it later.
