Slantzilla and Ron Parker have been throwing good hearted jabs at one another just for fun for quite some time. Their "You might be a...." thread has given us all a lot of entertainment. They love to debate back and forth about Ron's "Race Car" not being any faster than 'Zilla's "Street Car". Ron chases the championship while 'Zilla races locally and has provided tons of support to the cause both monetarily, stirring up interest, getting sponsors, and recruiting new people to race Slant 6 vehicles. They are both very serious racers and are both very dedicated to the Slant 6 as a racing platform. I like to throw my 2 cents in every now and again, usually stickin' up for ole Possum since he's a Georgia guy and I actually know him and have raced with him. That's where I was stationed last. You won't find too many people here that are truly serious in their jabs at each other. Most of it is good natured ribbing between friends. Every once in awhile you'll see a serious jab or two, but that is a small group and they seem to have settled down for the most part lately. |
