OK....lets understand that the bar mounts are no lower than the valance, bottom of the K-member...cross link....exhaust etc. It is really not an issue you would worry about if you saw it in person.

Like many of us I drive my car (and my son drives my car) everywhere . In this part of the world that means places many people would not take a SUV. I dont even get grass stuck in the bar mounts....

Who started this myth anyways?

Hey, I recognize that car!

Sandy, I feel complimented that you remembered how I worked this out.

Ok I've found a stock swaybar to use as a prototype. I need to order the metal and have it sent to the bender. It would be cheaper to order all the metal material at one time. I wasn't able to get a per ft cost today but should get it early next week. If you would like to be included in the first batch, please email me directly with the word "swaybar" in the subject line. Also send me your address and contact information.

Once I have a rough idea of how much metal to order, then I'll get a better idea of the actual price and will report that to everyone interested before we go ahead with it. I'm getting one regardless, but I would just rather everyone be apraised beforehand.

Add me to the list for two front sway bars. (As long as the price doesn't get too exorbitant) Any information available on adding the tabs to 61 and 63 lca would be appreciated also.

I'm investigating the tabs being fabricated for A bodies. The guy I'm speaking with has made B/E body tabs, so I'm sure he can do A, they're just in a different spot. I think his price was a little under $40 for a set.

Menko,

Keep us up on price and I'll likely order 2.

Al and all,

I am moving to Blacksburg, VA for a new job at Virginia Tech University.

Moving in about 2 months. Only 3 hrs NW of Chapel Hill, so not too far.

Lou

Menko, I'm pretty sure i will want one. Before I make a firm commitment I need to know the price and delivery schedule.

I will give a good estimate of price once I have the materials, labor, and shipping costs. Likely, if I have a batch done all at one time, then it will be cheaper as they will already have the machine setup to run the bars. I'm still trying to figure out the endlink style so I'll keep you guys posted.

Are you going to be making some that will work on a '72 Valiant? If so, I am interested in one.

Cory,

You're the second person that has indicated interest in that setup. I don't personally have a 67-72 swaybar, but if 65Dartman would let me borrow the one he has purchased through me (its a long story) its possible I could have some made, if there is enough interest for the trouble. Of course I dont have a car that it will fit, so this was really about stuff that would fit *my* cars ;)

But if things work out on this, I think we could arrange that.
