Hmmm. You might want to ask that in Engine, or start a new thread. That way folks in the know will see this question. CJ |

That is probably an 833OD and will bolt into an A body. B body 4 speed has a longer tailshaft (pickup or van for the OD) Racing I would want an auto. |

There has to be some interest in this thread.Come on all you B, E and C owners ,let get a few car put together and show all these A light weights what real cars are all about. After we get our rears kicked, we can always complain about the weight diff. ....Just started gathering parts to assemble my 66 coronet, may be able to make a west coast race ,probably not Redding, thats a long pull from BC...Locally ,gearing up for the old time drags in Ashcroft. Hope all your projects are going well .. thanks Dee. |

Paul Olds run a very competitive B-Body out here on the West Coast. He will be at several of our races this year. Why not come out and we can pair you guys up for a couple of "B-Body only rounds...Medford is closer for you and we have two races there .....Later, Wayne |

Looks like Wayne is setting me up. Seriously, it sounds fun. Of course we'll have to let a '53 F**d sedan in and then we won't have a snowball's chance. Paul Olds |

Dee, I'm not too far off I-5 (well, if 35 minutes isn't too far) if you were to drive to Medford. You're welcome to spend the night in lovely Yacolt, Washington the Thursday before the May 31-June 1 Medford race and caravan down on Friday. Or I could meet you along I-5 on Friday. Last Medford race I drove on Friday to Halsey, Oregon to meet up wit CJ (Ceej) and we then down to Eugene to join with FoPar and then to the track. If Paul is on board with this we'll have quite a group. With two A-bodies, two B-bodies and a Ford we'll be an odd lot. Joshua |

I will buy all you guys dinner on Saturday night right there at the track if you can "muster" up 4-5 cars for Medford...Might even buy you donuts and coffee both mornings. I usully get there first..do you want me to reserve the shaded area under the big oak tree for your "overnighters"?? I hear through the "grapevine" that Richard- The- Sandbagger has something up his "sleeve/or is it his pant leg?/" for 2008. Anyone know whats going on??? Still working on my 170 project...later, Wayne |

Anyone want to park their little "A" in my trunk for a pass? Hey greasmnky, what's you're B.C. race schedule like? We're planning on hitting all of the Kelowna races plus some Osoyoos and of course the old times in Mission. |

Hello Pat. I bought a really rough '70 charger last year that had no engine or transmission. It came from the factory with a 318. I been really thinkin about puttin a slant 6 in it just to mess with people and to be weird. All the rich people seeing the cars as "Im gonna put a hemi in it and sell it on barret jackson for a mint" is getting really boring. The big problem is that I dont have the stuff to put a slant six in the charger, namely a k member...oh well... |
