Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, but it seems to me that we are discussing 2 very different things. Just because a substance is suitable for extiguishing a fire does not imply that it is suitable for use as coolant in an internal combustion engine. Hell, sand will put out a fire but you wouldn't put it in your radiator. To try to link the two is just plain silly.
You're quite correct, not misunderstanding at all. As I stated above, I am not interested in pointlessly arguing with someone who thoughtlessly throws that kind of lame red herring into the discussion just to throw it off track. The less direct acknowledgement given to such infantile shenanigans, the better.

Dan, did you ever get a second response from the company? I was all set to try this out until I saw their email response.

Yep, got a second response saying "Sorry I wasn't able to answer you satisfactorily. I've forwarded your questions to Evans Cooling's corporate offices, and they should be able to answer them."

Turns out the website is run by an outfit set up specifically to market this stuff and nothing more. Which in itself is no big deal, but Mr. Evans needs to counsel them on appropriate responses to technical queries! I'll give the corporate office a few days and follow up with them mid next week.

Waterless coolant has been around for several years. A friend of mine with a circle track car with overheating problems asked me to look it up on the internet and see what I could find. I dont remember the name of the company he was interested in but it wasnt Evans. One advantage to this stuff is that its not electrically conductive. You guys that are running an aluminum radiator with an iron block wont have any more of that white crap in you cooling system that shows up after a while.
