Getting solid info on this tubular exhaust manifold (it is not a header) has been harder than pulling teeth. Read back through both threads and you'll see what I mean.

Good morning all, We have started the turbo Header this will take little longer than others. Ok about the duels, thay are two piece. No wall between front and rear ports. Oh yes the dyno tomorrow. First thing in the morning. Post results soon. Have a good day Don

Even if this is cheap, what's the point if it cracks or is not much better than stock? I just don't see it not cracking, being so long. That is based on using many types of headers and manifolds over the years.

I would really like to see a good, stainless header set with the y pipe for these cars. Even at a high price, it would be worth it to be able to buy a high end piece that would perform and really hold up. But then using two Dutras should do that for most street cars.

No matter how often you keep calling it a header, it's still a manifold.

Looks like a muffler for a '56 VW beetle with a 34HP motor.

Nope! the little chrome tips caused the whistling! I used to buy those new and gut the packings.

I finally went with a Thunderbird header and a turbo muffler

Oh, was that it? I always thought it was the muffler itself.

Great, and the testing results of the same engine with the stock manifold...right? Because it doesn't tell us anything unless you post the comparison.

Ah, I see...so you're going to the dyno, you say, but you're gonna withhold the results and not post 'em, eh? Very convenient. Also kinda slimy. Tellya what: You can be first to the finish line with data. That'll make you better than everyone else.

It's not such a big deal that there aren't dyno results posted for the other systems you mention, 'cause there're a lot of people who've had good results with Dutra Duals and real headers, and other makers don't ignore good questions or try to dazzle us with baloney oil, so there's a lot less reason to be suspicious of their claims. Your present behaviour just gives us all a lot more reason to think you're FOS.

So, let's have some dyno results. Stock manifold and your tubular header, no other changes. Put up or shut up, please and thank you.

Dan is right Mister Twister. Unless you do a couple pulls with a stock manifold, switch to your manifold, and make an equal amount of pulls with no other engine changes you can't say that one is better than the other.

It's not too much to ask for a fair comparison is it???

Please let me be the first to come out and say that you are full of $#!+.

You have a couple very nice looking Dusters, and I love Dusters. However, why you gotta come on here and blow smoke up our asses trying to sell us snake oil? :? :?

Your manifold is a nice alternative to a stock manifold, but at 3 times the cost of a new stock manifold it just doesn't make sense. I am hard pressed to believe it will flow anything near what a set of long tube Hookers will, or even a set of shorty Cliffords. You may be able to outflow a set of Spitfires since we seem to have trouble even getting a set. Mr. Jagger is in process of actually working with a trusted member of the racing community and we will see the results soon enough. I don't see James on here every day making wild claims with no more proof than Mom telling me Santa Claus is real either.

Very short primaries into a log with a small outlet will not promote flow better than long tubes into a collector, period. End of discussion.

We trust Doug because he does not lie to us about his products, and is not trying to insert his weinie into our anuses like you appear to be trying to do. Doug's manifolds are more expensive than a set of headers, but people still buy them because they do what he says they will do. No smoke and mirrors, no pig in a poke. Maybe you need to take business lessons from Doug.
