Depending on kit and price, I'm in for 1 or 2, most likely. Lou |

Thanks for taking this on Matt. After the thread on the EGT of this week, I can see the benefits of sequential over batch fire. It would require considerable more tuning, and knowledge than I now have, but so did installing the current set up to its present level, (which I still consider in its infancy). The prinicipal difference between Gen VII and gen VI is that Gen VII has all of the ignition options included as choices in set up. GEN VI required that you send the ECU back for reconfigure if you wanted to change ignition syles. Of course you have to be smart enough to know how to wire up the different ignitions and then how to chose the correct configuration in the tuning software. The other main difference in VII and VI is that many of the tuning pages in the new sfotware,(CAL map) are graphs that you see change as you tune instead of charts with cells. The ignition, fuel, and AF ratio charts are viewable both ways. Please keep us informed, and let us know when you have a ball park price. Sam |

The 1979 slants had a timing tab that had a 'tube' for a sensor on the tab... I wonder if that'd be a better candidate for that sort of project...-D.Idiot |

There's some progress going on behind the scenes - some other projects are on front burner, but I haven't forgotten this one. I'll announce some new products when they are ready, but expect part of the solution to be out before summer. |
