Hello to all that may have been following this thread,

Installed the new springs yesterday. The clearance issue appears to be solved, there's no more tire rubbing as far as I can tell. The ride height has been corrected too and the car now has a sinister rake to it.

The springs were pretty easy to install. There were no broken bolts or studs and nothing had to be cut or torched out. The only difficulty I encountered was trying to get the frame brackets off the springs. The bushings were basically vulcanized to the shackle studs and eye bolts. No real biggie though, just required a little elbow grease.

ESPO has decent stuff for the money and their parts are a good fit. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

New springs compared to the old ones. Not much of a visible difference until they're on the car. Then it becomes clear how much 'spring' the old ones lost. It's like night and day. See images below.

Here's how it looked with the old springs. Notice how far down the wheel opening is sitting.

Now with the new pieces in:

If I say so myself, it looks BAD ASS.

A little high for my tastes, but at least it's what you wanted. Glad everything worked out for you.

Looks about right, don't know that I'd want it any higher than that in back though.
