WOW, 40 MPG is an awful lot to ask for. I would be happy to be in the mid 20's. Someone out there has a serious feather foot. Is there any information that can relate to /6's??? I've got a few friends that their daily drive is a super economy vehicle. It would really frost their buns if a 40 something year old car could come close to their mileage.

I'd love to see somebody build a slant with just economy in mind. With the use of a multiple stage heat exchanger and perhaps some light boost to make up for runner length inconsistencies this could be fairly realistic...
