Ross, that one looks like it's more-or-less centered vertically between the bolt holes, despite the curve and lateral offset (though it may be an illusion because of the angle of the picture). It may not work any better than what you have already. Moving the pivot away from the input shaft, which that one looks like it would, should provide more travel for the release bearing, if that's needed. However, moving the pivot up toward the upper mounting bolt lifts the outer end of the fork, which lines up the linkage nicely. I'll look around and see if I can find another truck pivot like I used. |

Maybe not. Did you go to the URL I gave with all the pivots shown? Only the two bottom ones there have the wide separation between bolt holes like mine. If you consider what the bottom one would look like if you moved the fulcrum directly to the left like the straight one above it I think it would be much closer to the top hole than the one above it is.Quote:

The new fork is (about) an inch longer from fulcrum point to the end of the forks and it is (about) an inch longer from the fulcrum point to the outside end, a total of 2 inches longer over all. The old one was just too short to work.Quote:

Right. It must come up higher to clear the exhaust as well.Quote:
