Okay, I'll just leave that resistor as is for now. What I'll probably do next is try to clean up the wires that go to the panel, as in run new wires only more organized. Thanks for the inspiration, and your input! |

Okay, its been awhile but I have another question. Do you have the starter relay mounted on your panel? I have a '78 style starter relay on my panel, but no wires to it yet. I see that one of the terminals has "EGR" stamped next to it, which I am assuming gives power to the EGR module. Since my Volare no longer has any of the EGR stuff anymore, I don't need this, correct? Anyone feel free to comment here. Thanks! |

Okay, I removed some insulation and traced down the wires inder the hood of my Volare today. The wire that goes to the "G" terminal comes from the neutral safety switch. I do not need the wire that goes to the EGR terminal. So, that makes things a little more clear, and also simple. Onward... |

Success! The starter relay under the hood is now removed, and the starter relay on my panel under the dash is now wired and functional. With the relay relocated, and a few unused wires removed, it's a little cleaner under the hood. Eventually, I would like for the wiring harness to be under the dash, but that's for another day. |
