| I wonder how the hurricane manifold compares to the Hyper pac manifold? The runners are very different. Anyone care to buy one of each for testing and let us know the results? | |

| Doug Dutra already has a Hurricane intake in hand and will be doing exactly such a test. | |

| Great, I wonder which will be a better choice for street use? I'm guessing the Hurricane but I have no real reason why. Can the long runner manifolds be made to work with the automatic kickdown? I'm sure its been asked before. | |

| Micheal I dont have any first hand knowledge, however by looking at the installs that have been done. I cant see anyway that a factory linkage setup or kickdown would work. You cant even go from the old rod style to the newer super six linkage with out mods. This I have done. Frank | |

| Here are pictures of the Individual runner manifold, I built from exhaust tube, with 6 Mikuni carbs. These are on a 225 in a '63 Dodge Dart I call "6 Pac to Go" | |

| It drives very nicely, just a lot more responsive if you mash the throttle. I will get some around town mileage figures next week. It got 21.98 mpg comming back from Redding (2.8 rear gear with 205/70 x15's). | |

| Will try tp get some 1/4 mile times on the 20th of this month. When I ran it at Redding, with an open rear end, 2.8 gear set, 205/70 X 15 tires, could not launch with out way too much wheel spin. Did manage to get a 15.68 @ 88.~~ mph. | |

| Got around town milage figures (but you must know due to the lack of a kick down cable that will work properly, I have a spring holding the link on the transmission, so it will not shift to 2nd til 24mph and in to third at 53mph) any way 141 miles using 8.6636 gallons equals 16.275 miles per gallon. | |
