Cool. Do you have the tools to degree the cam?

You will probably want to play around with the lash settings. The .012"/.014" recommended is a fair starting point, but I would add two thousandths on both intake and exhaust for the first run. Once the cam is broken in, the timing and carb are adjusted then do a running lash adjustment and see how the engine behaves with more or less lash.

I don't have a degree wheel but a buddy has one I could borrow. I have the dial on a mag base don't think I need anything else super special. Oh well I guess I need a crank bolt haha

I prob should have asked before ordering, but curious on why chosing a dual pattern cam with less exhaust. I just realized that. Usually dual patterns lean towards longer exhaust opens. Please let me know if the shorter exhaust then intake is what I want.

Slant six heads flow relatively well on the exhaust compared to the intake so less exhaust duration is needed. This is the reverse of most V8s which is why we call them reverse dual pattern (RDP) cams.

Just received the cam, to bad the cam specs are a $#!+ scanned copy. Can barely read the thing lol but its good enough I guess let you guys know how it reads out
