Howdy fellas!
Okay, if anybody thinks Dan is gruff, they should meet my Dad! LOL!
All of my Dad's grandparents were German immigrants, and I remember as a young boy how his bluntness sometimes hurt my feelings. Years later though, when I would ask him for advice on whatever, I was confident that I was getting the real deal.

Back to the LEDs, I have noticed for some time now that LED taillights on cars were very bright. However, and this is without having done any testing, the idea of retrofitting LEDs into housings that were designed for incandescent bulbs seems like it might not be a good idea.

Safety is important. I don't think that Dan meant to ruffle anyone's feathers. Also, when the message is in an email, post, or typed text, I beleive that the tone can be misinterpreted.

Okay, enough said. At this time, I am sending everybody on this board, and I do mean everybody, a great big cyberhug from Texas. It's okay, I took a shower this week. :)

I got bored of reading this thread and looked at some boobies on my LED tv. Plasma has a better picture quality. Don't think it's DOT approved though, maybe I'll throw a DOT sticker on it.

Didn't you read the warning sticker? Plasma boobies may maim or kill you. They are way more intense than the CRT ones.
