that's on the drivers side and i thought you were asking me to make a mark on the tab on the other side and there is not tab on the other side.. It was a misunderstanding on my part sorry for the inconvenience have a good weekend |

You can make one if you want, but you had already stated that you had removed valve cover and correctly 'found' TDC by wiggling the rocker arms. The stop isnt need @ this point, all is needed is a mark on the pulley @ the TDC location of the timing tab...
Now I just need to figure out how to make piston stop |

So there is absolutely no difference between the relevant parts of your car as it exists and the relevant parts of your car as I described it. Very good. This means you should have no trouble following the simple step-by-step instructions that have been provided.

Now i just need to ( for now) take care of the carb issues and all will be well until the next problem arises. I was also able to find a chart that says the engine is a 2463430 225 1960-1967 (RG-series) and narrowing it down even more with this number B 225 5 20 and i believe it is a 1966 engine thanks everybody now off to lurk the search function |

i do use the search function a lot but while some info is of general idea and use many of it is geared to a specific problem a person is having. Either way I do thank you guys very very much for all your help and it is much appreciated |
