The dual 1bbl manifolds I've seen in catalogs, look like they come with linkage for the early "twist link" slants. I would bet that someone could build an adaptor to connect to the cable linkage off that. |

If you hit search Slant Six Dan has answered this question 47 and 1/2 times. As a matter of fact read everything he has to say about this. He has it down period. Maybe he can supply the links? |

That would be cool. I trust a guy with a long beard, lots of wisdom. Anyhow, I have for a long time wanted to run a dual carb setup. Almost bought a few manifolds along the way but did not. The ideal setup for me would be one of these manifolds with two 1920s, the super comp hedders, the Offy valve cover I bought from before with some added bling here and there. I have a 4bbl intake and a 390 but still lean towards the dual setup. I will be watching for updates on prices and availability. Thanks. Chas. ![]() |

Wow those prices do vary widely. I am surprised that on some it's by such a wide margin. ![]() |

Those are just the advertised retail prices of some of the internet dealers. Im sure the prices that are going to be offered will be considerably lower than the cheapest ones shown above, thats the whole point of doing the group buy. |

Zilla your memory is pretty good. The Valve covers were $144 for the group buy. Shipping varied because of location. You must be takin' that Ginko stuff and doin' your crossword puzzles. ![]() |

Still interested in a dual carb manifold (now a number #5041). I really want to pay a little less (who doesnt) and I will be watching this thread for updates on what is going on with this (maybe) group buy on these. My question is are these available now?? Thanks. Chas. |

Chas. , I doubt that anyone has half a dozen of intakes sitting on the shelf just waiting. Offy does not have a huge inventory ready to ship. What offy does have are all the molds. When demand on a certain item reaches a level to cast that is what they do. Our last group buy was about 25 valve covers if I remember things as good as Zilla. So Offy cast them for us - our own production run. You have to remember, much of Offy's product line is for engines no longer in production- like our little slant. |

Yeah, my offy valve cover was like #21. Still have it. Fixed that lack of polish by the bolt holes. Still have not drilled it out for the pcv. Yeah Im chicken s%#t!! I saw a post from Dan and there were some posts with pictures. I did not like that angled gold anodized gizmo. I did see someone post a picture of one with a nice red powdercoated fin area with something that was chrome and kind of bell shaped with a pcv in it. THAT one caught my eye but have not seen it any more. Sorry, off topic here (DOH!!). Gonna be a pain but im going the dual carb route. Had a setup WAY back in the day on one of my old Darts and it did make a difference. Chas. |

To solve the linkage issues on the 2-1bbl intake you can always convert it to 2 BBD's. That way the linkage is a ton easier to fab. ![]() Yes, there is room on the carb mount area to drill for the BBD, and you just mill the throat holes out to BBD size. ![]() ![]() |

Do a search on Lindross and his Krylon Special. He mounted his pcv differently. Used another piece from Offy. I will see If I can dig up anything if not I can go to his Dad's shop and get the lowdown. |
