Four cars with one new guy, Bill Barksdale in a stock '69 Dart automatic, Austin Goodman in the '64 Valiant 4 speed, Emily Booker in the '71 Valiant and Rusty Heisten in the '62 Lancer. All racers were from Carthage with Emily living on the east side of town for the long distance award. Emily also lost to Austin in the final with a breakout. She ran a 19.5499 on a 19.55 dial. Austin wins the shotgun. Perfect weather and big turnout for the MoPars Invade Mo-Kan. |

Bad weather here made it impossible to be there. Congratulations to Austin and good hunting. What happened to the Green Valiant? Hopefully spring will come earlier next year. |

The Green Grenade dragster is getting a new gear drive setup with a front mount Vertex and something to do with forced induction pre 1964. The dragster must be running by August 17th for the HAMB drags. The Sublime '62 Valiant is getting a new engine from what I hear. Thanks for the kind words. Mark |
