Thanks Rob! That looks good to me.

As I mentioned before it took me a lot of skill to get my index to be "225" :D :D Anyone else ever do that?? :D :D

Thanks, Rob! Very interested numbers to consider. Ron Hamby is the king seems to be the first punchline... It's fine to have a high index with only 50 or 100 rounds. A high index with 300-500 rounds is quite another thing.

I haven't posted the updated Performance Index stats in quite awhile.

Today I was updating everything with the 2022 season and decided to add everything up for an overall Slant 6 ALL Performance Index...

With the end of the 2022 season we have had a total of 394 people race in the series since 1999.

The overall Performance Index for those 394 people, taking into account folks like Ron Hamby all the way down to someone who may have shown up to one race and those who have raced for years and not won a race.... 0.2662 with a total of 3,627 wins over 13,625 rounds raced.

Here are the Top 10 and 11-30 best Performance Indexes through the 2024 racing season.

This is filtered to only those racers having competed in 50 or more rounds.

I can post more and can give anyone their personal stats. Just let me know.

Congratulations to Greg Ondayko for not only winning the 2024 National Championship, but climbing to 11th place as one of the very best Slant 6 drag racers of all time! :mrgreen:

Thanks a bunch for your work, Rob! Fun to see this laid out. Nobody will ever touch Hamby and Hargis for win pct with soooo many runs.

Mike and I may have been a little higher in pct. if it wasn't for the fact that almost every race we went to we ran each other in the 1st or 2nd round. We were about 50/50. :oops:
