The opening on the manifold is a 4 Hole - it's a clifford with the 4 hole adapter. Its this manifold: http://www.cliffordperformance.net/Merc ... ry_Code=MY with one of these on top of the manifold and under the Carb: http://www.cliffordperformance.net/Merc ... _Code=C235 I was thinking That I could take the Manifold spacer and Cut the Holes out of it to Make it an open adapter and then bolt the spacer on top of it, with the Radiused side toward the engine? Whaddya Think Ed?, Scott? Greg |

I actually found a pic of the HVH spacer mounted on an engine on Google image with the carb removed and it shows the radiused portion pointing upward. I would try it with the HVH spacer bolted directly to the intake and then with the additional spacer and see if that makes any difference. |

You cant do that easily.. That's why clifford has the adapter. its modular for all of their intakes I think. Greg |

With the existing 4 hole spacer/adaptor, I'd run the radiused spacer with the pretty part on the carb side. Without the adaptor or with the adaptor converted to an fully open design, I'd run the radiused (pretty side) towards the manifold |
