Whitney and I made it to Kentucky. We are spending the week on the lake and taking it easy for our 9yr anniversary. We will be over to clay city Saturday morning for the race. I probably will not be there Sunday, I am going to Tennessee to see some friends Sunday. The dart was not ready to go so I drove the big 4x4 slant six powered dodge. I made it to Kentucky but I need to put both u joints in the driveline sometime tomorrow..... It started vibrating badly and they are completely shot. Luckily I made it to the cabin and picked up a pair of u joints. Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday, and racing the biggest (maybe the slowest) slant six vehicle ever! Whitney will be coming and would race if there was an extra vehicle to run, if not she will take some pictures and video. See you soon!

Post subject:  New Pit Spaces with Electric!! Let me know now!!

Hey All,

I just got an update from Shane at Clay City.

They have new pit spaces with electricity available and we get first dibs!! :D

There are some on "our" side of the track just beyond the trees where we usually park.

$20 for the weekend.

If you want a reserved spot with electricity, post here so I can let the track know!

Aren't these guys great!? :D

Rob,

We've always had Slant-6 parking beside the tower and that would be fine again this weekend but I wanted you to know that we now have 30 spots on the grounds with 20 amp electric service added this year. 20 of them are located from the burnout to the 330 on the right side of the track against the fence and 10 are located just past the tower on the left side of the road behind the bleachers. We will charge $20 fee for electric for the weekend (Fri thru Sun) for those spot and will reserve an area for your cars if they would like electric. Just let me know soon so I can block others from parking in those spots. The ones behind the bleachers are closest to where you usually park and there's room for your guys to do some sharing. It's up to your racers but I wanted yall' to get you first dibs.
