Get a coil that is wound with the correct gauge wire for 3 ohms internal resistance from Pertronix with no built in resistors. They are a little over $30.00. You want to reduce heat in a coil for higher output under demanding conditions, not increase it so it reduces output and or prematurely breaks down.
