there is. i didnt know for the longest time. kept getting diferent brands of 225 mounts hoping to get something like i had in there when i got the car and couldnt figure out why they were so much smaller. then one day i remembered it was a 170 car and looked it up for that motor and it turned out to be exactly what i was looking for. if you go to rock auto and look up a 1966 valiant with the 170 and find the motor mounts look at the pics and reference it to the 225 mounts. they are worlds apart.

The rock auto catalog is wrong, as is most other catalogs. I went through this years ago. If you look the listing for a 66 Valiant with 225 is for mount numbers 2265 and 2264, and the 170 is for numbers 2303 and 2304.
If you look at 1967 valiant the mount numbers are 2265 and 2264 this is correct. The mounts changed between 66 and 67.
Now look up the numbers for a 66 Dart, it lists the same number for a 225 and a 170, numbers 2303 and 2304.
In short the numbers 2265 and 2264 are incorrect for a 66 Valiant, they are for a 67 Valiant.
The reason you had a problem, was everyone was giving you a mount for a 67 car, which will not work.

The factory parts manual does not show a difference between a 170 and a 225 mount, within the same year, "A" body.

No problem. Like I said, I went through this years ago, an tore my hair out trying to get the right mounts.
PS: nobody will correct their catalogs. I gave up trying.

I used 2303 & 2304 on my 64 225 Valiant

When I got them, that was the number cross-referenced (I'm pretty sure at rock auto too)

Now Rock Auto shows the 2264 & 2265 for a 64 225

and 2303 & 2304 for a 170

The 2304 @ 2303 did look like my original mounts.

What's the difference?

Not me. I love him so much, I am going to marry him. Then I will get the manifolds in the divorce.

PS: 2265 and 2264 mounts are for 67-72, in "A" bodies. Many more years in trucks.

Thanks Romeo!!  And no thanks Charlie!

Here are a couple pics. The exhaust manifolds actually look real nice even with the Clifford intake. New starter should arrive Tuesday and I will post a picture. I took a bunch of measurements from from different things to the manifolds if someone wants me to post them I could. Mini stater looks like it may have worked if the rear manifold would have came out about 1" farther then turned down. Manifold diameter is 1 7/8" opening.

Witness Mr. Rick Covalt. A regular guy who won the Hyper Pak lotto. All he wanted was to race. Little does he know he has just entered a different world. A world filled with admiration, jealousy, hatred, and man marriage proposals. A world called the slant six twilight zone.

Do those bolt bosses on the exhaust manifold line up with something on the hyperpak?

Post subject:

Yes , Bolts go through the intake into the exhaust manifolds.

Personally, I think those would look even better hangin' off the side of my open engine, in the front of my '23 T project, with the Offy 2x1 intake nestled in between the runners.
Go with a true dual exhaust, but weld the pipes side-by-side, with a rib down the center, and a brass "sight bead" out near the ends to make it look like the muzzle(s) of a double-barrel shotgun.
Just sayin'

Tighten up the lash or lean out the mix on a manual transmission and the locals will think it is either a machine gun or you really are shootin' ducks.
