I plan on coming as a spectator and hopefully to meet some of the fine folks on this board. Not sure if I will drive my scamp or not. I'll be by myself, are the pits open to non-participants? Any suggestions for a spectator? How late into the evening will you guys be racing?

Steve, one thing you have to get in on is when we make our Saturday night run to Pizza Hut in Winchester. :lol:

If I drive the Scamp, which is my slant car, I'm worried I'd brake something and have no way to get home! It runs so well, I'm reluctant to "push my luck". It is a 1bbl 225, so I'm not going to beat anyone down the strip!

Race it just like you drove it to the track. You don't need to be fast at all, just consistent. And many times slower is more consistent.
