Someday I hope to learn a second language. That would infer; i need to learn to speak a primary language first.

Unfortunately one of my projects across the country decided to not make their project schedule and has fallen behind on getting their material orders in....upper management was nice enough to book me a flight on the redeye this sunday night and returning home the following saturday evening.... I was told in an unflattering tone by the VP...."to go light a fire under their butts and be the extra foreman on the crew"...so I won't be back to Oregon until Saturday night.... I will have to raincheck for a future date for bent-6 marinaded tri-tip....sad, too I have a few pounds of Edelweiss Cheese Franks, and Nurnburger Sausages for Lobster's Schwenker..

So far we have: Ceej & Linda - marinated steaks, pork chops & chicken Fopar - some kind of salad THOR - ABT's runvs_826 - refreshments (what kind?) Black Rose - chips & potato salad Mike & Beth - dessert (already at my house) Lobster1 - ?? Anybody else coming? If you are, what are you bringing? (Besides a good appetite  )

Looks like were having a parade as well as a picnic. One 66 Valiant and two 62 Lancers are driving down from Portland. Knock on wood. I'm bringing pork chops. Josh, do you want to drive with or follow us? B |

I will be there in my wife's 65 Ford (she doesn't like my Darts bucket seats, says they are too small and are hard). She will be driving so I am not limited to adult beverage quantity. Richard |

Good to know Fopar, I'll bring a little extra wine. I think our drive will be a one time only for Olga my wife. The interior is stripped and it will be about 100 miles each way inside an echo chamber. We replaced the floor, but we have no time or money at the moment to install the carper or headliner... B |

Sounds good Josh! We should have a quite the Feast going! I'm working late this week on a fast tracked project, so just got home. Hopefully I'll get in at a decent hour tomorrow night. Got some stuff to move around so we can get the engine onto a stand for dissecting! Now if I can just get this database straightened out tomorrow, and scoot home for the festivities! CJ |
