I received the paperwork from Richard Bjerklund for new records in the AA/G class for the 1/4 mile, both ET and speed. I sent a PM to Ryan to update the official record list. Rob, you can give him his bonus points now. |

Post subject: | Final Race Weekend |
The Clay City race has been re-scheduled and will take place at the Mason-Dixon race 10-11 October. The final Redding race is also 10-11 October... So everything will be decided this weekend! I will do my best to calculate the points for all 5 races as quickly and as accurately as possible, so your patience and understanding will be appreciated... |

Mason-Dixon and Redding races are complete and I have the points. I will get things updated shortly. Only one of the Clay City races was run this weekend, so the second race will be run the weekend of 6-8 November at the re-scheduled Mopar Southern Classic. Stand by for the updated points... |

When did it change that we were going to have a make up race at Clay City for Clay City?

In your thread from this morning it sure sounds like people are planning to attend and in Lou's post he was going to notify the track of which day suited most people.I think Rob is just going with what he is reading. A lot of things can change fast in 8 days, in Slant 6 racing! |

Pretty sure it was decided to only run 1 CC race at MD last week before MD was run. |

Yes Dennis, I suppose you are right! But once they moved the race from the week after the rain out into Nov., and some people wanted to still run the race, I really don't see a problem with it. Whoever wants to run can come and race. It is not an extra race just another make-up. |

Thanks Rick. That's the way I read it in Lou's post. I had a couple distractions yesterday that kept me from updating the points for Mason-Dixon and the first Clay City Make-up races. I will get to it as soon as I can. Promise. It looks like there are about 4 or more racers interested in running the last make-up race in November (including Mark and Rusty "The Long Haulin' Green Team). |

Post subject: | Season Finale |
Only 2 cars showed up for the final Slant 6 race of the season at Clay City. Rodney Hargis won over Jack Everhardt III to secure the 2nd place spot. He ties Andrew Howard with 180 points (both give up 30 to the over 5 rule). Rodney's superior PI gives him second place. Jack Everhardt III is Rookie of the Year. Ron Hamby is our National Champion for the 6th time! |
