Vacuum diagram as of now.

I don't have the amplifier or the air injection anymore.

My egr valve is not hooked up.

So I purchased the new holley that reed suggested.

Unfortunately it does not have ported vacuum either.

cast in numbers ar 6r 5147 b

stamped numbers are 4006603 7357 3407


I can see where the hole goes in the throttle body for the ported spark tube. I can plug it with my finger and stop flow.

Hmmm. It could be the throttle isn't closing far enough to stop the vacuum at that port. What is your base timing and what is your base idle RPM?

I am holding the carb in my hand. The throttle screw is pulled out all of the way. The accelerator pump linkage then acts as the throttle stop screw. Any way the port bored directly across from the ported spark tube per this diagram.

This port is not blocked. The only way I could block this part is move the accelerator pump linkage to the middle slot.

I will be getting a refund. Looks like I should be picking up a new distributor and a few odds and ends.
