Not really. Lots of books and magazines and websites are full of lots of errors. People are still going around saying "You can tell a 170 from a 225 because the 170 has a Carter BBS and the 225 has a Holley 1920" and "There was a 252 truck Slant-6" and (as I did the other day) "The RG block is an inch taller than the LG block", and all kinds of other factoids.

Probably correct, the only thing that crossed My mind that made Me think it was possible was that '64 was Dodge Bros. 50th Anniversary, & they wanted to give 'em a little bump for the Golden Anniversary Editions. |
