Outside of NOS, much like other old parts for these (vacuum cans), they are now made by one outsource... so if you pop for one you get the same quality and part
whether put in an SMP box or an Airtex/Wells box... so you might as well save and get the Airtex unit...FYI.

This is what I had begun to think. This confirms my suspicions.

Well crap!

On a good note, got the distributor from the super six Volare. It was original I assume...3874876 tag on the side, 9r advance plate and the vacuum advance holds vacuum. Good deal all around. Just finished cleaning it up, will assemble it in the morning...trying to decide whether or not to install it in place of the WPS piece or not...tempting.
