Don't even say the word you are thinking... Both my Valiant and my Van appear to be ship shape and running strong. I plan to get there around 11 AM Saturday. I plan to run t'n't at my local track (Fairlawn, VA - Motormiledragway.com) on Friday night. Lou |

No test & tune Friday. Saturday looks pretty good right now. Sunday is wait and see. It may totally change in 3 days. Dan. I have the convertor for you. |

Just got back home after towing the Blue 85' d100 home. I let a friend take it home to practice driving it before the race saturday and it shut off on him and wouldn't restart. The left front brake caliper locked up a couple of days ago and we just put new brakes rotors and calipers on today so that it would be ready for the race.....Hopefully tomorrow we can get it going again and have that truck racing this weekend too. Looking forward to seeing everyone and doing some racing this weekend! |

I Just got a text from the track!. Racing is on for today. Looks good. They are drying the track as we speak. Gates open at 9:30 today and 8:00 AM tomorrow. Patti will be down and have lunch for everyone. See ya all soon! Rick |

Guess who won today? Time's up... Ron Hamby! Beat me in the 2nd round when my car sped up a bunch and I broke out. Ron took the win in the finals against Jack Jr. Other attendees were Rick and Ryan Covalt, Andrew Shank, and Jack III. Beautiful day of racing. Ryan went 11.28 @ 115.86 MPH - wow. Then had some running probs for 1st round of elims. I went 13.64 @ 97.00 MPH in not so great air, so quite happy with that. Yep, racing cancelled tomorrow - bummer. More to come... Lou |

Local Larry Bird and his sons Eddie and Mike came to support the race. Larry is building this nice 66 Valiant that should be a super performer when completed. It is heading for the Dyno for some tuning in the next week or two. He is planning to race with us at Motormile and Wilkesboro!
