I just saw this thread. I'd be in favor of adding the Tulsa race to the schedule if Mark can run it. I'd like to see more records set. I think its a good thing to have the fastest cars in the record books and not have them miss out on records because they are 1500 miles from a race. I hope you are able to make this happen. |

I believe Mark was going to also speak with the Mo-Kan folks to see if a two day race might be feasible. Saturday, 2 November at Tulsa and then Sunday at Mo-Kan about 2 hours away. He should be posting something shortly...

Mo-Kan has fun drags for Nov. 3rd and Carl said it would be no problem to include a slant race or the make up race for Tulsa, if Tulsa rains out. I really want to see Nitti's Duster get a record and he is on board to attend the Tulsa Race for 1/4 mile. What about having Mo-Kan as an 1/8 mile race if the Tulsa race is able to be completed? Ryan, I will take care of things even if I have to buy back at Tulsa! Mark |
