I wish it was ready. Been working on it a lot last month or so. I hope to have it running by the end of July.

Sounds awesome, Brian. Greg is stopping in Blacksburg on the way and we'll caravan down together and arrive around 4:30 Friday. Somehow, it appears 2 Madsen cars will be in the races...  Should be fun. Lou |

We got home a couple hours ago from a very nice weekend of racing. It was nice to win 2 races but it was much more important to me to have this race in honor of our dear friend Ron Hamby. There were many emotional moments for me personally and for everyone else I think. It was especially moving as we all got in the "missing man formation" and idled down the track in honor of Ron. You will see in the pictures. One car in the front (Brian and Kay) with no one beside them. The rest of us follow two by two and slowly proceed down the track. It seemed as though the track was a mile long! At least to me. Thanks to the track for allowing us to do that. They knew and loved Ron too! Kay was with us for both days and it was so good to see her and tell her how much we loved her too! Ron and Kay were an inseparable team, and our series will forever miss seeing Ron in the Yellow car, wheels up, and winning races! We miss you Ron and so glad we could call you our friend!! We had 6 cars Friday, 7 on Saturday, as well as some friends who stopped by to say hello and to see Kay. Brian and Anna did a great job getting everything in order, planning the food and providing a nice place to sit down and relax, and fellowship with everyone. We handed our some door prizes too! Mark Charapich was excited to win the windage tray package provided by Dennis Schumers! Thanks Dennis. Andrew Shank got the scraper and Greg Ondayko got the new grease gun. Winner Friday - Rick Covalt, R/U Greg Ondayko Winner Saturday - Rick Covalt , R/U Lou Madsen We got to meet some new folks for the first time too. Lou brought Victoria out to meet all the Slant 6 crazies. We had a great time getting to know her and had some great laughs at supper too! She fit right in and I hope she had a great time getting to know us a little also. All around a great weekend. More memories were made with some really great people. Here are some pictures. Other folks have some more I know. So maybe we will get some of them up too!
