The weather looks great for the Friday Test and Tune, not so great for everything else. I pulled the plug on my trip to Clay City. |

I have also been watching the forecast. It has improved somewhat for Saturday. Unless the track cancels it, I will be there. I hope to get there around 5-6 PM Friday. I'll call the track tomorrow midday and see what they say about racing before I leave. I imagine they will keep it going since the forecast is only 40-60% chance of rain on Sat and Sun. The white 62 Valiant is almost fully packed and ready to go! Lou |

Slantzilla and I are in the same boat. It such a long tow for me and with iffy weather I don't feel comfortable in making the trip. I hope there is a window for you guys to race and once again I am missing a Clay City race. Maybe one day the stars will align. Stan

I updated the Roll Call. Down to five potential racers. I doubt the Bruners will make it. Rodney Hargis usually shows up... Jeff Kendall told me the rain don't scare him none! Him & his Pappy are comin'! They'll have the longest tow probably. |

Rain is looking less every time I check in. Not Ideal, but Still less and less. We shall see. Sikeston was in a similar situation last year - It rained on the way out to the race track and was predicted to rain for the race which kept people away. The clouds cleared when I rolled into the track.... It was all good. Greg |

When I retar next year & ain't got nuthin' better ta do, I'm just gonna load up the RV & go ta ever dang race there is. Don't matter if it rains... I'm on vacation!
