I just got off the phone with Steve Adams...

Rodney Hargis suggested that we try to finish up those last three rounds from Clay City at the rescheduled Knoxville race.

The other four racers are local or close by, so if Steve can make it back we could finish things up and I can still award the trophy that Mark Goodman donated! :D

Post subject:  Last three rounds at Knoxville!
We will run the last 3 rounds of our first ever 6 round race at Knoxville Dragway in Maynardville, TN 27 October if we can get all 5 racers there!

Rodney Hargis
Gary Bruner
Lukus Bruner
Jackie Everhardt III
Steve Adams

The top 4 racers are all close by, but Steve will have to tow all the way back up from Florida.

To support Steve making that long haul I’m going to pitch in $100 for gas money.

If anyone else wants to help Steve or contribute to a purse for the race(s), please post here or shoot me a PM.

We will already be running both Knoxville make up races that day, so we may have to get a little creative to make this happen.

Update from Gary Bruner concerning the Knoxville make up races:

The re-scheduled Knoxville races will be October 26-27. That is a Friday and Saturday, the same schedule as the rained out race.

For the last three rounds of the Clay City race the track manager (Tommy) said he would work with us to get those three rounds in as well.

So, the Clay City finish will be a separate event and not mess with the ladder of the Knoxville race(s).

Okay, so here is where we left off when the rain hit at Clay City:

There were five remaining racers after the third round with three rounds left to run.

Here's the ladder:

4th Round:
Gary Bruner versus Lukus Bruner
Rodney Hargis versus Jackie Everhardt III
Steve Adams = Bye

5th Round:
Winner of Gary v Lukus against Steve
Winner of Rodney v Jackie = Bye

6th Round:
Winners of the 5th round... :roll: :lol:

I'll bring the Racer's Reunion trophy. :wink:
